Rate 01—Union North East
April 2019 Rates—Energy Marketer Customer
The Ontario Energy Board has approved changes to the rates Enbridge Gas Inc. operating as Union Gas charges its customers effective Apr. 1, 2019. The new rates incorporate applicable temporary charges and credits that do not affect the annual impacts listed below.
The total annual bill decrease will be $51.13 for a typical Rate 01—Union North East customer using 2,200 m³ of natural gas a year and buying gas from an energy marketer.

Transportation to Union Gas
The transportation to Union Gas rate decreased by 0.6369 ¢/m³ to 2.1266 ¢/m³ to reflect the decreased cost of transporting natural gas.
Transportation price adjustment
The transportation price adjustment rate decreased by 0.4964 ¢/m³ to -1.3565 ¢/m³ to make up the difference between our forecast cost of transporting natural gas and actual costs from prior periods.
The storage rate decreased by 1.1415 ¢/m³ to 5.2542 ¢/m³ to reflect the decreased cost of storing natural gas.
The delivery rates that vary with consumption decreased based on our forecast cost of delivering natural gas to your home or business.
Delivery price adjustment
The delivery price adjustment rate increased by 0.0391 ¢/m³ to 0.2630 ¢/m³ to make up the difference between our forecast cost of delivering natural gas and actual costs from prior periods.
