Add someone

If you want to allow someone to manage your account on your behalf, you must provide your consent.

To protect your privacy, we do not give anyone access to your account, not even a family member, unless you call us with your consent.

How to add someone to your account

Call our Customer Contact Centre at
1-888-774-3111 Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It's best if you both call together to provide consent. And have your account number ready.

Two access types

There are two different levels of access and responsibility:

Add someone
  • Co-applicant – has full account access, including financial responsibility for the account. Due to the financial responsibility, both parties must give consent. When you call us to add a Co-applicant, please have the person with you in the room to provide their identification and consent.

  • Transactions only - Often used for adult children or caregivers who help the Primary Account Holder with their bills. You are granting that person permission to access your information without being financially responsible for the account.
