If you’re about to move, be sure to register for myaccount—Union Gas’ online management tool—for the easiest way to move, open or close your natural gas service. There’s no calling, waiting or office hours to work around.

How do I make the move?

  • Visit our myaccount page to register or log in.
  • Click 'I’m Moving' followed by 'Transfer Your Gas Service'.
  • Fill out your new address and move date.

You can update your move request at any time, and, if you no longer need Union Gas’ service, just click ‘Stop Service’ to close your account.

Coming together to deliver greater comfort

On Jan. 1, 2019, Union Gas and Enbridge Gas Distribution amalgamated to become Enbridge Gas Inc. Over the coming months, you’ll start to notice our brand change to Enbridge. Visit our Enbridge Gas page for more information.

National Dig Safe Month is a time dedicated to raising awareness of safe digging practices across the province with a goal to improve safety, reduce damages to underground infrastructure and prevent unnecessary outages.

If you’re planning to dig on your property, whether it’s a small garden project or major renovation, it’s against the law to start before having your natural gas and other utility lines located. Digging without locates could damage the network of gas and water pipes, telephone lines, hydro or cable TV lines which may be located near the surface of your property.

Call or click before you dig

Contact Ontario One Call or 1-800-400-2255 at least five business days before digging. You’ll be provided with a free and timely locate of the underground utility lines on your property so you can complete your project safely.

As you notice changes happening at Enbridge Gas, you can find greater comfort in knowing that our safety values aren’t one of them.
