Your rates decreased April 1
The Ontario Energy Board approved a decrease to your natural gas rates on April 1, 2018. This means the average residential customer using 2,200 cubic metres of natural gas a year and buying gas from Union Gas will see their annual bill reduced by about $40 to $60, depending where you live.
Your rates are adjusted without mark-up every three months to reflect changes in the market price of natural gas.

Blocked sewer?
Call Ontario One Call for a free inspection
Underground natural gas pipes unintentionally installed through sewer or septic pipes outside the walls of your home are called cross bores. They can be dangerous, as the equipment used to unclog sewer and septic pipes can easily break a natural gas pipe causing a gas leak, explosion or fire.
To prevent this, call Ontario One Call toll free at 1-800-400-2255 for a free on-site sewer safety inspection before you, a contractor or plumber try clearing a blockage. These calls are high priorities—Ontario One Call immediately notifies service providers who will send a representative to verify if there’s a cross bore on your property.
If you have a blocked sewer outside your home, call Ontario One Call toll free at 1-800-400-2255 immediately.
