Whenever you shovel your driveway, clear a path to your natural gas meter too so your meter reader can get to it safely and easily. If your meter isn't accessible, your bill will show an estimated amount that will be adjusted the next time we get an accurate reading.

PLEASE READ YOUR METER WHEN WE CAN'T.

Sometimes severe weather prevents our meter reader from taking a reading. No problem - it's easy to do it yourself.

HOW TO READ IT:

Digital meter:
Record the 5 numbers left to right.

Record the 5 numbers left to right.

Dial meter:
Record the dials left to right. Use the lower number if the pointer is between two numbers. Record "9" if the pointer is between "0" and "9".

HOW TO SUBMIT IT:

Online through MyAccount:

  1. Log into MyAccount at uniongas.com/myaccount
  2. Click on Rates & Usage
  3. Select Submit a Meter Read
  4. Fill in the date, meter type and meter read, then submit

By telephone:
Call 1-888-774-3111

  1. After the greeting, press 3 at the first menu, then option 3, then option 1
  2. You will need your 14-digit account number

You can register for MyAccount at uniongas.com/myaccount at any time. To find out when to submit your meter reading, simply refer to the highlighted dates on your meter reading calendar in MyAccount.
