"We're committed to investing in the future and that's why we support the GenNext program, helping to build the next generation of ambassadors."

GenNext is a program that encourages people in their twenties and thirties to become involved with United Way Halton & Hamilton through giving and volunteering. The program creates opportunities for people to roll up their sleeves, get involved in the community and add to a meaningful dialogue. GenNext aims to engage volunteers to understand the issues that confront people in the region, to actively connect with and contribute to the community, and to influence positive change. The committee organizes fundraising events, including their signature event "Banter with Big Wigs", to build a next generation of Ambassadors, that create awareness and spearhead workplace campaigns. This event brings together young professionals and c-suite executives, offering a unique opportunity to network and gain insight into various professional industries.
