Union Gas Promotes Safety Education Through $1,000 Grant To Sarnia Fire Rescue Services

Sarnia, ON, February 27, 2017 - Union Gas continues support for Sarnia Fire Rescue Services safety initiatives through a $1,000 grant for educational material and lifesaving smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

"We're very pleased to show our continued support for Sarnia Fire Rescue Services and their safety education initiatives which will help make people and this community safer."

Sarnia Fire Rescue Services are committed to protecting the people and property within their community. In addition to emergency services, Sarnia Fire Rescue Services provides public education to the community so that residents acquire the fire safety knowledge to help protect their families and community.  Union Gas is proud to provide funding that will allow the department to purchase education materials, to teaching children about fire safety and burn prevention. This donation will also go towards smoke/CO alarms to help ensure that citizens in the community have the lifesaving early detection that smoke and carbon monoxide alarms provide.
