Union Gas Supports Augusta Fire Rescue With $1,500 Grant
Prescott, ON, October 31, 2017 - Union Gas supports the Township of Augusta with a $1,500 grant to Augusta Fire Rescue for firefighter training.

"At Union Gas, safety governs everything we do, whether we are building a pipeline or installing a gas meter at your home," said Blair Hiseler, utility services manager Cornwall, Union Gas. "Because of our safety culture, we make it a priority to support our local firefighters, helping to ensure the safety of the community."
Augusta Fire Rescue is made up of 37 volunteer firefighters who provide relevant and proper training that is essential to ensuring the safety of firefighters and quick and efficient response to residents.
"This generous donation from Union Gas helps to ensure that all members of Augusta Fire Rescue receive adequate training to ensure their safety," said Rob Bowman, fire chief, Augusta Fire Rescue. "Through providing appropriate training we are able to provide the best service to our residents and we can thank Union Gas for assisting in this."
