The goal of Build a Dream is to inspire the future generation to make informed career decisions while expanding their horizons. They strive to connect them to opportunities by introducing them to female role models, employers and educational resources. Trying to dispel gender role stereotypes about occupations and empower the future female workforce to make decisions that will have a positive impact on their lives. Their collaborative approach with parents, industry, education, government and community will help shape the diversity and inclusion of the workforce.

"This generous donation from Union Gas helps to strengthen our aim in inspiring our future generation. "Build a Dream' is an outstanding event and opportunity that showcases this pathway by strengthening our connection to the communities we serve and the future tradespeople who will build them," said Nour Hachem-Fawaz, president, Build a Dream. "Having young women and their parents at the table and providing them information and an opportunity to network with industry will further assist our youth in making career informed decisions. "
