Union Gas Supports Sarnia Fire & Rescue Services With $1,000 For A Fire Safety House

SARNIA, ON, March 13, 2017 - Union Gas supports Sarnia Fire & Rescue Services with a $1,000 grant to go towards the purchase a new fire safety house to be used at schools, clubs and community events to help promote fire safety within the community.

"At Union Gas, our ultimate goal is simple, we want everybody to return home safely at the end of each and every day," said Greg Wagner, utility services manager Sarnia, Union Gas.  "Working together, we know that programs like the fire safety house will help teach our children about safety and make this community safer."

Sarnia Fire & Rescue Services is a full-time, multi-hazard response fire service, operating out of five fire stations covering an area of 165 square kilometers and over 72,000 residents.  Sarnia Fire & Rescue serves city residents by providing public education, fire prevention and fire suppression services.
