Union Gas Helps Youth Reach Their Full Potential Through a $1,500 Grant To Connect Youth, Inc.

Prescott, ON, October 18, 2016 - Union Gas supports Connect Youth Inc., helping connect youth with the appropriate services and programs to reach their full potential, through a $1,500 grant.  The grant, paired with in-kind space supplied by South Grenville District High School, will help the organization continue to deliver programs that promote positive social behavior and healthy lifestyle choices with the goal of reducing crime, use of alcohol/drugs and improving quality of life.

Connect Youth, Inc. is a United Way member agency that provides South Grenville youth aged 14-21 with a safe environment and the support needed to access local community services to address the issues they face. This can include mental health challenges, suicidal ideation, self-harming, homelessness, family and other issues related to poverty, victimization and isolation.
