Each year, Junior Achievement of Waterloo Region delivers programs to thousands of students in Grades 5-12, in the areas of entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness. Junior Achievement programs encourage youth to become independent, self-sufficient, and help them develop the business acumen and leadership skills they will need to contribute to the future growth and prosperity of Waterloo Region.  According to a Boston Consulting Group report, for every dollar invested in JA, there is a $45 return to society.

"We're extremely grateful to Union Gas for their continued support of Junior Achievement," said Karen Gallant, president & ceo, JA Waterloo Region.  "As a result of this grant we’ll be able to offer business education and financial literacy programs to hundreds of students across the Region, helping them develop skills they need for their future economic success."
