Residential COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program (CEAP)

Are you behind on your Enbridge Gas bill as a result of COVID-related work interruptions or slowdown?

The Residential COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) can help.

CEAP provides a one-time payment of $80 to qualifying residential customers to help pay down energy bill debt incurred since COVID 19 began.

This program is limited and can only be applied on the bill for your primary residence. Applying does not guarantee that CEAP will be provided. If you qualify for CEAP, you will receive an email confirming that your bill credit has been applied within 30 days.

Answer the below questions to apply for CEAP.

1. Were you behind on your bills before the March 17, 2020 Provincial Declaration of Emergency?

2. As of today, are you behind in your natural gas bill by at least two bills?

3. Is the account holder (the person whose name is on the bill) or the account holder’s spouse or common-law partner (who must share the same address with the account holder):
   I.   Unemployed at the time of your CEAP application; and
II.   Have they qualified for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) or received Employment Insurance (EI) after March 17, 2020?

4. Have you received Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) grants for your primary residence any time in the past year?
