Underground natural gas pipes unintentionally installed through sewer or septic pipes outside your business are called cross bores.

Check first before clearing. Call Ontario One Call toll free at 1-800-400-2255 for a free on-site sewer safety inspection.

  • Contact Ontario One Call before you, a contractor or a plumber try clearing a blockage.
  • Equipment used to unclog sewers and septic pipes can break natural gas pipe lines causing gas leaks, explosions or fires.
  • Calls are high priority—a representative will be sent over immediately to verify if there’s a cross bore on your property.
