We can help you invest wisely in your housing by taking advantage of our enhanced incentives on a variety of energy efficient equipment and upgrades. These incentives were designed with an affordable housing manager's needs in mind.

Social Housing

Housing that provides accommodation to low income tenants.

Not for Profit Housing Providers

Housing owned and managed by a private, non-profit group.

Market Rate Housing Providers

Privately owned housing that’s rented to tenants at rates that are at or below the average rents specified by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). See average rents.

Multi-Family Residential Incentives

Building Assessments

Description Customer Incentive*
Building assessments to determine energy savings in buildings four stories or more. Receive up to $8,000 per building, with a maximum of $40,000 per housing provider per year.

Custom Building Efficiency Improvements

Description Customer Incentive

Custom projects to reduce gas consumption in your building stock such as:

  • Insulation Upgrades
  • Heat Recovery
  • Building Automation Systems
  • Control Systems
 Up to a maximum of 50% of the fully installed project cost.
