Unionline Direct Connect

A new and unique web service that can automatically and independently download your consumption data from Unionline

Union Gas is proud to offer its large industrial customers and energy marketers the first automated utility web service of its kind in Ontario, called Unionline Direct Connect.  Through this free service, you can automatically receive your daily consumption data straight to your computer.  You no longer have to login to retrieve your information- it will be sent to you via Unionline Direct Connect.

If you enrol for Unionline Direct Connect, you will enjoy the following benefits:

• No more manually logging into Unionline and downloading your consumption data.  You can configure your computer systems to automatically and independently retrieve your daily consumption data when you want it.
• Connect directly to Unionline's database anytime to automatically retrieve up to 65 days of historical consumption.  Customers can still find and locally store additional historical data through Unionline's Distribution Measurement download feature.
• Flexibility to retrieve the data you need - whether by company, contract, location or meter.
• It's easy to download- Your IT department will need to configure your application to automatically retrieve your daily consumption data.  Union Gas will provide instructions and support to get you up and running.

For our energy marketers who serve daily read customers - Unionline Direct Connect can help you consolidate all of your customers' consumption data at one time.  It takes the hassle out of pulling data for each of your customers and it does all the work for you.

How to enrol

To enrol for Unionline Direct Connect, please complete the Unionline Access Request Form. Unionline subscribers can find the form by expanding the Self Service menu in the Unionline navigation bar and clicking on the Access Request Form link. When outside Unionline, you can find the form at uniongas.com/unionlineregister. A Service Account User ID and temporary password will be issued to the Authorized Signatory by Union Gas upon validation of the Unionline Direct Connect Service Agreement.

Note regarding access for Agent Companies:  The agent company must have the Distribution Measurement role in Unionline for the end use customer prior to authorizing a Unionline Direct Connect Service Agreement on their behalf. Unionline Direct Connect paperwork is not required from the end use customer when an authorized agent submits a Direct Connect Service Agreement on their behalf.
