If necessary, who is subject to interruption?
The Priority of Service policy lists the order
in which services of different types will be interrupted in the case
of a constraint on our storage or pipeline system. Only
Shippers with interruptible services are affected by interruptions.
Firm services are not affected except in instances of Force Majeure.
What is the difference between M12 and C1 transport?
M12 transport only transports gas from Dawn to
Parkway or Kirkwall, while C1 transport can transport gas anywhere
on Union’s system including Bluewater, St. Clair, Ojibway, Dawn,
Parkway and Kirkwall. The demand charges for transportation from
Dawn to Parkway or Kirkwall are the same for both C1 and M12
transportation services, however fuel charges differ between the
two. M12 transport fuel cost changes monthly and the customer is
subject to quarterly true ups, while C1 transport fuel cost is fixed
for each season and not subject to true up. M12 transport service is
intended for long term contracts, lasting 10 years or more, but the
C1 transport service can be either long term or short term.
What is the Fuel Ratio?
Fuel Ratio is the quantity of fuel that must by
supplied to Union Gas for every unit of gas moved within Union’s
system. This number differs from path to path, month to month and
from storage to transport. A summary of the current fuel ratios is
available at
Current Rates & Fuel Ratios.
What is the cost of HUB Injections and Withdrawals?
The cost of all HUB interactions are laid out in the Current Schedule B HUB Pricing. The prices are subject to change and are usually updated monthly. The Schedule B pricing is part of the underlying HUB contract agreement and also includes pricing for interruptible transport, exchanges, and name changes.
