Liquidity and Transparency

The Dawn Hub is the second most liquid natural gas trading center in Canada and one of the most liquid Hubs in all of North America. With over 10 PJs of gas changing hands daily, Dawn provides buyers and sellers with liquidity and price transparency.

Access to Storage

Multiple storage facilities tie directly into the Dawn Hub providing over 270 PJs of physical storage to Shippers.  Upstream pipelines with access to over 650 PJs of storage facilities in Michigan further enhance the physical storage market. Local Distribution Companies, Marketers and natural gas-fired power generators all hold storage and actively trade at the Dawn Hub.
