Storage & Transportation Customer and Supplier Meeting

Union Gas hosted a customer meeting in Toronto on August 19 to provide customers and suppliers with updates and insight into key Union Gas and Spectra Energy initiatives and projects. Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon, an award winning author and leading global visionary, shared his dynamic and insightful vision on where he see the natural gas markets headed as the world becomes constrained by oil scarcity and carbon pricing. Bill Yardley, Group Vice President, Transmission Northeast for Spectra Energy, delivered his vision of the future of the natural gas industry and how Spectra Energy is supporting increased reliance on clean burning natural gas. Three-time Olympian Regan Lauscher concluded the meeting with some of her insight on overcoming adversity, the importance of teamwork and what it takes to perform at the highest level. Feedback from those in attendance was extremely positive and everybody is looking forward to the next Storage & Transportation Customer and Supplier Meeting.
