Receives Regulatory Approval

Construction delayed due to evolving market dynamics
Dawn Gateway Pipeline Limited Partnership, a joint venture between Spectra Energy and DTE Energy, announced that it has acquired all the necessary regulatory and environmental approvals for the Canadian portion of the Dawn Gateway Pipeline project to proceed. In response to changing market conditions however, the partnership has agreed to delay the planned November 2010 in service date. An assessment of the market conditions that would support the project will be made with shippers this fall.
