Changes to Union Gas Market Price Service Schedule (MPSS)
February 6, 2009

Union Gas will be updating the Market Price Service Schedule (MPSS), an unregulated schedule that applies to Shippers who enter into ex-franchise storage related services, effective April 1st, 2009.  The new MPSS has been posted to our website.

The current MPSS will remain in effect until March 31st, 2009.

The changes to the MPSS are as follows:

  • Dawn (TSLE) has been added as a receipt and delivery point available to customers who hold contracts with Enbridge
  • A Monthly Demand Charge for Dehydration Service has been added
  • An Authorized Overrun Dehydration commodity charge of $0.004/GJ has been added
  • The Supplemental Fuel Charge of 0.329% has been removed
  • Notes have been added or edited to provide greater clarity on service applicability
  • Cosmetic changes have been made to improve readability

Please note that standard fuel and commodity charges have not been changed.  The addition of the new Dawn (TSLE) receipt and delivery point will provide Shippers access to receive and deliver gas at this new point on our system.  This location is available to parties who contract for services with Enbridge.  The addition of the Monthly Demand Charge for Dehydration services and the Authorized Overrun Dehydration commodity charge will only impact third party storage providers who have purchased Dehydration services from Union Gas.

If you have any questions about the changes to the MPSS please contact your account manager.
