from a rental water heater company, it will be installed for you with
all the details taken care of. If you choose to purchase a natural gas
water heater you will need to hire a qualified natural gas contractor to
install the unit for you.
One excellent source of reputable HVAC contractors is through the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) at hrai.ca. HRAI requires its members to carry relevant trade, fuel safety and municipal licenses as well as workers’ compensation. A contractor’s membership in HRAI tells you that the company is properly licensed and that they are committed to continuous improvement through education and training. You may speak to a HRAI representative by phoning toll free at 1 877 411-4722. You can also find a heating contractor by looking in your Yellow Pages under ‘Heating Contractor’.
