To keep your pool heater running smoothly, consider
these suggestions:
- protect your pool heater
from the elements
- keep your pool heater clean
- inspect your heater
annually for signs of rust, mineral deposits and scaling and have your
unit serviced as needed
- when the pool season ends,
disconnect your pump and filter. It is recommended that you completely
drain all water from your heater, pump, and pumping system. You will not
need to use antifreeze type products if you properly drain all residual
water.
