Natural Gas Dryers - Buying Tips

save up to $2,000* per year, every year.

Laundry is something we know a lot about because we do so much of it. Use that knowledge to choose the right natural gas dryer for you. Here’s how:

  1. Think about where the dryer will be located – is it time to move your laundry room to the main floor?

  2. What are the dimensions of the space where it will be installed?

  3. Where will the dryer be exhausted?

  4. How much capacity do you need?

  5. Which direction does the door need to swing?

  6. Can you choose a stacked washer and dryer in the space you have?

Think about the features you want in your new dryer:

  • Which finish do you prefer on the inside of the drum, is it durable?

  • Do you want a light inside the dryer?

  • Will an air fluff cycle of an hour or more to help eliminate wrinkles be important?

  • Consider a door that can be changed to swing from left to right (keeping in mind future renovations)

  • If children or elderly adults will use the machines consider easy to use dials

  • Do you need a drying rack that fits inside the dryer for delicates, shoes, etc?

  • Is quiet operation important to you?

Carefully compare warranties and service packages available.
