Taking Care of
Business
- By Paul Benedetti

Trying to save energy costs in your business? Wondering if there are rebates or incentives that can help your company? Researching which new energy-efficient equipment is right for your factory?
These are important considerations for business owners and now Union Gas has made getting the answers faster and easier.
Union Gas recently launched a new, redeveloped business section at uniongas.com/business, designed to help business customers save money, energy and time.
"We've centralized all of our business information and made it easier to use," says Deanna Marley, project specialist for Union Gas.
The new website gives business customers ways to save money and energy with easy-to-use navigation that allows them to access Union Gas' rebates and incentive programs. It also lets them learn more about natural gas, gas equipment and how to find service providers with recent experience working with Union Gas.
Marley believes the new website gives business customers an opportunity to gain a competitive edge. It has three major sections: Save Money & Energy, Your Account & Services and Your Business. These make it easy for business customers to access their account and pay a bill, research energy rates and to find energy savings, rebates and incentives. One of the most exciting new sections is Your Business. This new feature makes it easy for customers to find information tailored to their kind of business quickly and easily. They simply choose their business type from an alphabetical menu that ranges from Accommodation and Builders to Restaurants & Nightclubs and Warehouse & Transport.
Each section provides targeted information for that specific business and a list of Tools To Help You Save Money including energy Calculators, Industry Success Stories and Equipment & Tips. If you can't find what you are looking for, there's a handy Ask a Question tool throughout the site that features answers to the Top Ten Questions and allows the user to ask specific questions. As well, business customers can contact a Union Gas account manager for more information about programs and incentives that can help you reach your energy goals.
"The importance of finding information quickly and easily is
critical," says Marley, believing that the new website will become a
virtual business account manager for customers.![]()
