Drain
Water Heat Recovery
Water heating is the second highest energy expense for most homes. Up to 90% of that heated water washes straight down the drain. Now you can save up to 60% of that waste water heat by recovering it and using it to pre-heat cold water going into your water heater. A drain water heat recovery unit can pre-heat incoming cold water from about 8°C to about 23°C. That saves energy and saves homeowners up to 30% of their water heating costs.
