MyAccount helps make your move as easy as possible. Whether you need to open a new account, transfer an existing account or close an account, the appropriate form is available to MyAccount subscribers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Here's how it works:
Simply go to uniongas.com/myaccount, click ‘I’m Moving’ and complete one of the following forms:
Open an Additional Account:
Complete and submit this form online if you’re opening an account for a different property in the Union Gas service area.
Transfer an Existing Account
If you currently have a Union Gas account and
are moving to another property serviced
by
Union Gas, complete and submit this form to
transfer your natural gas service to your new location.
Close an Existing Account
Complete and submit this form if you're
moving to a property that's out of the
Union Gas service area.
This will close
your account with us.

It's Time to Reset the Equal Billing Plan
Union Gas Equal Billing Plan (EBP) customers know the benefits of having their annual natural gas costs spread equally throughout the year. In addition to helping families budget their monthly utility expenses, the EBP is free and easy to join, too!
Here's how the EBP works:
Each August, Union Gas calculates your estimated annual natural gas costs for the upcoming year by taking your gas use from the previous year and current rates into consideration. That total is then spread equally over 11 monthly instalments. In the 12th month, August, Union Gas will credit or debit your account for any difference between the amount paid and the gas used.
Ready, Reset, Go!
Each September, EBP monthly payment amounts are reset. The new monthly amount will appear on your next bill and will continue each month until the next year, when the amount is reset once again. The EBP runs through July each year, with August as the true-up month. If you enrol in the EBP between September and February, the plan will begin with your next bill. If you enrol between March and August, the EBP will begin the following September.
