Getting Connected

Getting a new natural gas service is easy.  If you're interested in connecting, the first step is to get in touch with a local local heating contractor.  Your contractor will work with Union Gas to find out if there is natural gas in your area, recommend the best system for your home, and order your new gas service. To find a contractor in your area, check the Yellow Pages or use the HRAI Dealer locator.  When hiring a contractor to work with natural gas appliances, it is important to ensure they are registered with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA).  All natural gas heating contractors and companies should be registered, and you can confirm a contractor's registration by calling the TSSA at 1-877-682-TSSA (8772).
