September 22, 2008 - Spectra Energy and DTE Pipeline Co. announce a Non-Binding Long Term Transportation Open Season for the newly proposed Dawn Gateway Pipeline.  The pipeline project would connect DTE's facilities at MichCon in Michigan with Union's Hub at Dawn, with an initial capacity of 400,000 Dth/d, starting November 1, 2010.

March 18, 2008 – Implementation of 2008 Rates - The Ontario Energy Board has approved new rates for regulated transmission services. These rates were approved as part of implementing an Incentive Regulation (IR) framework.
