Here's how it works: Union Gas committed to helping property managers and tenants reduce their energy consumption by offering FREE installation of Energy Saving Products as part of our Helping Homes Conserve program. These Energy Saving Products can help save up to $100 per year on energy bills, and include the following:
We will also install a programmable thermostat at no cost. With your written permission, we will install a free programmable thermostat in your tenants' residences. The use of a programmable thermostat enables your tenants to further reduce their energy consumption, resulting in additional savings of up to $100 a year on their energy bills. A programmable thermostat is a great way to help regulate the temperature of the entire property, and can even help reduce demand during peak times to reduce the strain on your equipment. All you need to do is complete a Consent Form, and we will contact your tenant to book an appointment.
*Landlord acknowledges the property has a gas-fired water heater to qualify for the HHC program. To qualify for the programmable thermostat, landlord acknowledges the property has a natural gas furnace. |
