Union Gas determined more than a decade ago to take a lead role in helping customers manage energy responsibly. Since 1997 Union Gas conservation programs, directed to residential, commercial and industrial customers, have raised awareness that there are both environmental and economic benefits to using energy efficiently. The natural gas savings alone amount to approximately 540 million m3 of natural gas, which is equivalent to heating 213,777 homes for a year.
Union Gas has knowledgeable, trained experts in the field of energy conservation available to answer questions and provide solutions that support energy efficiency. Union Gas Energy Conservation Programs encourage smart choices, often introducing the public to innovative practices that will benefit current consumers as well as future generations.
