Union Gas works with Aboriginal Communities to Conserve Energy

Union Gas and Six Nations Natural Gas partnered to present an energy conservation night for the residents of the Six Nations community. The evening presentation included energy conservation tips and available programs for residents to promote energy conservation. Every attendee received a Union Gas energy savings kit for their home.
The energy savings kit included a faucet aerator, a showerhead which reduces the amount of water used for showers and taps by 50%, and 2 lengths of pipe wrap that reduces heat loss of standing water when installed on the hot water pipe and can save about 2% of the water heating cost on your gas bill.
