CA Training
Union Gas has been approved as the first industry-based Chartered Accountant (CA) Training Office in Southwestern Ontario -- one of only seven corporate CA Training Offices in Ontario approved by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario (ICAO).
As a Chartered Accountant Training Office, we can now offer CA students the qualifying practical experience and support necessary to achieve a CA designation.

This tremendous achievement attests to the level of professionalism and expertise of the Union Gas finance team, which consists of over 70 people including 17 qualified CA’s. We offer the breadth and depth of Finance experiences including Controlling, Forecasting, Tax and Internal Audit, to train CA students in accordance with the profession’s rigorous standards.
The CA Training Program is one example of the ongoing investments in leadership and employee development at Union Gas.
Union Gas has been approved by the ICAO to hire up to 12 commerce and business students interested in pursuing their CA designation over the next three years and will begin recruiting on university campuses across the province this fall.
