Here’s how increased ventilation efficiency can help lower your energy costs, and raise your savings. Unlike traditional ventilation systems that operate at one speed only, a Demand Control Kitchen Ventilation system responds to changes in stove usage. In other words, when stoves are idle or only a few burners are in use, the exhaust fans will reduce speed. When stoves are operating at full capacity, the fans will increase speed. This has a remarkable effect on energy efficiency — and energy costs. Simply by reducing the exhaust and make-up fan speed during idle times, a Demand Control Kitchen Ventilation system can typically save from $1,200 to $5,000 in energy costs per hood per year. *Those are significant savings!
Saving energy and reducing costs aren’t the only benefits of Demand Control Kitchen Ventilation. Your kitchen will become a more comfortable workplace.
