Design Assistance Program (DAP)
The Design Assistance Program is a joint effort between Union Gas and Enbridge Gas Distribution who each provided input into designing and implementing this program. Both work closely with the Office of Energy Efficiency (OEE) at Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) to help promote energy efficiency options and technologies in new construction building design. The program will help in creating energy efficiency designs for new construction and/or redesign of an existing building using simulation models, LEED rating system or hiring a DAP advisor. A financial incentive of $4,000 per project is available.
