This document summarizes the guidelines which govern our operations.

Customer Complaint Processes

Customer Complaint Policy
The purpose of this policy is to provide an overview of the handling of written customer complaints.

For storage and transportation customers with a dispute related to contractual terms and conditions, system operating data and/or customer information, view the Storage and Transportation Access Rule (STAR) Dispute Resolution Mechanism.


Service Related Policies

Direct Purchase

Authorization of Interruptible Direct Purchase (DP) Balancing Transactions
To define the evaluation criteria Union Gas applies when a customer requests authorization for a direct purchase balancing transaction.

Daily Contract Quantity (DCQ) greater than 1,200,000 m3/day -- Union South
This policy will ensure consistent and fair treatment for setting and changing a T1/T3/U7 customer’s Daily Contract Quantity (DCQ) or U7 customer’s Parkway Call for customers that are eligible to choose the Firm Billing Contract Demand (FBCD).

Less than 300 GJ Vertical Slice request
This policy applies to new or existing direct purchase customers, in the Union Gas South operations area, that have not previously received a vertical slice and have a Daily Contract Quantity (DCQ) increase request for less than 300 GJ/day.

Obligated Daily Contract Quantity (DCQ) -- Union North
This policy will ensure consistent and fair treatment of changes (either increases or decreases) to a customer's obligated Daily Contract Quantity (DCQ).

Obligated Daily Contract Quantity (DCQ) -- Union South
This policy will ensure consistent and fair treatment of changes (either increases or decreases) to a customer's obligated Daily Contract Quantity (DCQ).

Priority of Service
This policy provides information regarding the processing of interruptions or scheduling reductions, to interruptible services, when  requested services exceed available capacity under normal operating conditions.

Request to turnback Vertical Slice Capacity
This policy applies to direct purchase customers, in the Union Gas South operations area, who have been allocated upstream transportation capacity under Union Gas’s vertical slice program on or after November 1, 2003.

Return to Union Gas Sales Service from Direct Purchase
This policy applies to direct purchase customers who wish to change from Direct Purchase to Union Gas Sales Service.

TCPL Turn Back
The purpose of this policy is to provide an overview on how a direct purchase customer in Union Gas's Southern, Northern or Eastern operations area can take advantage of Western turn back opportunities.

Temporarily Changing Existing Customer Obligated Points of Receipt
This policy applies to all existing Bundled-T and T-Service direct purchase customers in Union Gas’s Southern operations area.

Upstream Assignment
This policy provides an overview into the handling of the upstream assignments for direct purchase customers in the Union Gas's Southern, Northern and Eastern operation areas.

Upstream Capacity Clearinghouse
The purpose of this policy is to provide an overview on how a direct purchase customer, in the Union Gas Southern operations area can rearrange their upstream transportation allocated under Vertical Slice.

Vertical Slice Policy
This policy applies to customers who move from sales service to direct purchase in the Union Gas South operations area.

Storage

Cost Based Storage Space and Deliverability Allocation - Union North
This policy provides information regarding the calculation of cost based storage space and storage deliverability (injection and withdrawals) for Direct Purchase Customers.

Cost Based Storage Space and Deliverability Allocation - Union South
This policy provides information regarding the calculation of cost based storage space and storage deliverability (injection and withdrawals) for Direct Purchase Customers.
